When our Director Kevin had the initial site meeting with Peter he told Kevin that he has very high standards and the gateway must be perfect – nothing else will do! No problem ; our company mission statement is to exceed our customer’s expectations. We worked closely with Peter to ensure the design of his new gateway was exactly how he wanted it. From initial design drawings, manufacturing specification through to installation and commissioning Fortress always give 100%
We laid two armoured cables, one for the gates and one extra for the gateway lighting, at a depth of eighteen inches.
We back-filled the trench to cause minimal disruption to the driveway.
We dug across the entrance, laid the cables and back-filled straight away to ensure that restricted access was kept to a minimum.
We dug soak-aways adjacent to the motor boxes.
We installed the main control panel and lighting junction box.
We concreted the support posts and motor boxes in place.
We fitted the gates and added the safety edge.
We raised the entrance ground level with additional stones.

Recently, Mr. Dye came to us with a fantastic job in Southwell for an incredible property. He joined us at the office for a meeting to look through his own drawings of steel gates he wanted. He also brought along the architects’ drawings for us to view.
